1. In Australia, an investigation into why inconvenient sea-level observations were suppressed has been announced. Not all is well in the sea-level measuring world as it seems the IPCC manipulated sea-level observations to preserve the myth of rising sea-levels. More here:
In 2003 the satellite altimetry record was mysteriously tilted upwards to imply a sudden sea level rise rate of 2.3mm per year. When I criticised this dishonest adjustment at a global warming conference in Moscow, a British member of the IPCC delegation admitted in public the reason for this new calibration: “We had to do so, otherwise there would be no trend.”2. Warmists are learning the age-old lesson that crying wolf eventually gets you ignored, if not eaten.
3. That sound you heard was Michael ‘Stick’ Mann’s head explode. Inscrutable Chinese scientists have studied 2,485 years of tree-rings and discovered there is nothing different today than before. No warming. Certainly no hockey stick, indeed they predict it’s going to cool for about the next 50-years or so. Mann will no doubt counter that they didn’t use his Nature trick, or something. If the Chinese make their data available, it’ll increase pressure on Mann to do the same.
